When Werner Enterprises decided to team up with Lehman Racing and Clay Millican, they did not realize they would be backing a dragster powerhouse. Three years later, the team has three consecutive Top Fuel IHRA Championships to their name. Team Werner/Lehman Racing will go for another Top Fuel win this year at the IHRA Nationals. In last year's race, Millican won the event and set a new world record, becoming the first IHRA Top Fuel driver to enter the 4.5-second range.

Aside from his record setting race in Texas, Millican also became the winningest Top Fuel driver in IHRA history. He surpassed his idol, "Big Daddy" Don Garlits' previous record of 25 wins, which lasted for 24 years. Millican, a former forklift operator, finished the season with 30 Top Fuel victories, which means he only needs two more to pass Rickie Smith and take the title of most wins for a driver in any professional class.

The Werner/Lehman Racing team has been a positive step for all involved. Millican's performance has drawn attention and support from across the country.
