The Werner Paperless Log System
This system replaces traditional paper logbooks. It's connected via satellite through QualcommTM and assists drivers in tracking their hours of service. No lines. No math. No paperwork. You can focus on driving.

Werner Bonuses
- Annual Achievement Bonus - Achievement Bonus is 1/2 cent for every over-the-road paid mile driven during the year. (Teams split pay.)
- Solo Monthly Mileage Bonus - Earn 1/2 - 2 cents for all paid miles during the month. Qualifying mileage varies depending on division.
- Fuel Efficiency Bonus - Earn from 1/2 cent to 2 1/2 cents extra per mile, depending on your miles per gallon.
- Loading/Unloading Pay - 80% of Werner freight is drop and hook, but we will pay for a lumper to load and unload your trailer. Earn $40 if you fingerprint an entire load without assistance, and $20 if you handle an entire load with assistance.
- Extra Pickup or Drop (Multiple Stop) Pay - If a load requires you to make more than one original pickup and one final drop, we'll pay $25 for the first, $35 for the second, $50 for the third, and $75 for the fourth.
- Shag Pay - For trips of 100 miles or less, you receive your regular per mile pay plus $20 for each trip.
- Tarping Pay (Flatbed Division) - Earn $20 for each load (original pickup and final delivery), plus $10 for each retarp stop en route.
- Layover Pay - We'll pay $20 after the first 24 hours, then $40 each day after. Teams get double the solo rate.
- Optional Per Diem Program - 100% of the tax benefit goes to the driver.
- Trainer Program - On-site simulator with computer-based training.
